Genda Connections
GENDA CONNECTIONS
Genda Connections is a live event featuring 8 – 10 speakers from different backgrounds. Speakers are invited to the platform to discuss their ideas, share their stories and to inspire and motivate others. As part of The Genda Project, Genda Connections focuses and implores individuals of all ages to step out of their comfort zone.
Genda Connections strives to connect Fijian audiences to local individuals breaking the norms and living their dreams. By providing these individuals a platform to share their ideas and stories, we hope to disrupt and motivate a new generation of Fijians to toso, reach out and live in the pursuit of their happiness with integrity. We hope to move, inspire and ultimately make our audiences realize the value of making their own stories count.
We believe that these stories have to power to change people’s lives; their thinking, their attitudes and their contribution to the wider community. Through Genda Connections we hope to spark conversations that matter and ultimately a more conscious thinking society.
GendaDISRUPT
Genda Disrupt is a live talk platform for community-based and industry specific talks, discussions and debates. Genda Disrupt a space for communities and industries to share information and discuss innovative Fijian ideas to empower change.
Genda Disrupt strives to connect Fijian audiences to local subjects and issues within specific communities and corporate industries. By inviting keynote speakers to share their knowledge and ideas and by hosting discussions & debates on our platform, we hope to disrupt and empower Fijians to view things from a different perspective, question standards, learn new things, be informed, grow and make better choices.
We believe enabling access to information and sharing examples of new, innovative Fijian ideas has the power to change people’s lives; their thinking, their attitudes and their contribution to the wider community. Through Genda Disrupt we hope to spark conversations that matter and ultimately a more conscious thinking society.
GENDA INTERACTIONS
(Subject to confirmations) Monthly events bringing a small, intimate group of dynamic individuals together. The aim of the events is to provide a one-on-one opportunity for people to connect to one another. We host a series of events called 'Genda Interactions' where people come together to talk, discuss ideas and share their stories in a social environment. Each event has a certain theme and a target age group. This is a 'speed-meet' type of event and participants have no obligation to share any personal contact details during the semi-guided interactions. However if two people do wish to communicate further, they can certainly do so.
